Since I was a, I've loved everything that can be created with my own hands. My room is my fortress and my workshop. In one corner stands an easel with an unfinished watercolor I'm painting the view of the autumn park from my window. Paints, brushes, jars of water this is my personal ritual of peace. When I paint, time stops. I don't think about anything except the play of shades and lines on paper.
Next to the easel lives my second passion yarn and knitting needles. For me, knitting is magic. From a simple ball of wool, something warm, cozy, and full of life is born. I'll knit a scarf for a friend's birthday and take immense pleasure in imagining how it will warm her in winter. It's not just an item; it's a little piece of my warmth and care.
My friends sometimes joke that I have too many hobbies for one person. But I can't help it. For me, it's not just about "passing the time." Painting, knitting, running, reading these are the things that give me energy, allow me to express myself, and let me learn something new every day. This is who I am.
But my interests aren't limited to quiet, creative hobbies at home. I adore movement! Three times a week I go for a run in the nearby park. For me, it's not sport for the sake of results; it's meditation. The rhythm of my steps, the sound of the wind in my ears, the feeling of lightness and freedom it's the best way to clear my head of unnecessary thoughts and feel strong.
And I'm a total sucker for a good story. I can get lost in a bookstore for hours. I love long, complex novels where you can live a life alongside the character. Right now, for example, I'm reading a book about an 18th-century traveler it's so captivating! Sometimes I try to write short stories myself, but so far, that's just for me.
